I am a sneakerhead

I am a sneakerhead episode 111 - @Flyknit_Racer_Chaser

My name is Barrington also known as flyknit_racer_chaser. Growing up in Jamaica we always bought our sneakers when I came to visit the US (back when you could just walk in and buy shoes) or relied on people to buy and send them.

The good thing the person buying them for me was an avid Jordan collector (she still has all OG pairs) I still remember when I finally got to her size trying to convince her to give me her Jordan 10s. I would call her and ask for the latest basketball shoes from the eastbay catalog and wait what would feel like months for someone to bring them. I was always into sneakers but like most couldn't convince my parents to spend $150 on the newest Jordan's or basketball shoes every week so pairs were bought as needed.

Now living in Florida we always have sneaker weather so we always want more sneakers than we need. As I got older and started to work I began to buy my fair share of Nike free runs and other trainers but when I saw my friend @imsimplyb with the volt/sequoia Flyknit racers I fell in love.

I've been collecting the Flyknit racers for the past 3 years. The racers in my opinion are a timeless, clean design that are comfortable. With over 30 colors to choose its hard to choose one but my top colors are the multicolors and the volt. Over the past few years I've also been picking up some other models like Nike sock darts, roshe runs and other various Flyknit models. But as my IG name suggests racers are my drug of choice with hopes of getting some rare HTM and NRG pairs in the future. All this could not be possible without the support of my wife and the many family members and friends that support my addiction. Thank you.
