First of all, could you briefly introduce yourself? 

Hi, my name is Gianfilippo, I'm 33 years old and I live in a small town near Treviso (an amazing city). I'm an Energy Manager in a big office full of great colleagues. I love to drink, and wear streetwear

For how long have you been collecting sneakers?

I've been a collector since 2013, my first pair of shoes was Ronnie Fieg's Asics Gel Lyte 3 "Volcano", it was love at first sight. I still remember that it was my first campout, it was raining and it was very cold but, it allowed me to get to know what has become one of my greatest friends Attilio (one of the biggest Italian collectors). 

What camera setup are you using for your sneaker images?

At the moment I shoot with a Canon 760d and with my beloved Sigma Art 35 mm 1.4. I would like to take many more photos but unfortunately, I have little time to do it.

You seem to have a great variety of sneakers on your Instagram account, do you have any favourite brand? Perhaps a model and a release as well? 

I have no favorite brands, I buy everything I like. Clearly, most of it is Nike but I like to change. I love brands like New Balance and Diadora that far exceed all the others in terms of quality. I don't even have a favorite model, I wear everything I like, but if I really have to choose I would say Air Max 1.

How many pairs do you have in total?

I have about 300 pairs of shoes and I have no more space to put them on.

Have you been able to cop all of them for retail, if not, where did you buy them?

Once upon a time, it was easy to buy shoes, before the hype, with campouts that made you meet people and create a group. Now everything has changed with raffles, everything has been digitalized and there is no contact with people and shops.

What's your all-time grail?

Absolutely Diadora x Limited Ed. "Correfocs". Impossible to find in my size. Ah, need to add Kim Kardashian…

What do you plan on buying next?

I'm saving to get the Jordan 1 Fragment or Nike Air Yeezy 2 "Platinum"
