Cali Thornhill DeWitt is one of the most considered artists in the world of street culture. In an interview of the last April, GQ described him as a “cultural oracle”. Living in Los Angeles (maybe the most “cultural oracle” of the cities), he has recently founded the brand Some Ware with the musician and artist Brendan Fowler, sold in some of the most known stores worldwide.

And he was asked by Kanye West to create the merchandising for his Life of Pablo tour, using his signature “Old English” font. The same font we’ll find on the upcoming collaboration with Adidas and the Japanese brand Neighborhood, which had announced an own capsule collection with Cali some weeks ago too.

The connection between DeWitt and Japan was already evident when he joined Kazuki Kuraishi and Haruki Hirata from Big Love Records for the brand Society capsule collection.
The collaboration with Adidas gets inspired by terrace culture and classic sportswear, with a target graphic on the back of some iconic pieces. At the moment, we know of  black tracksuit, one crewneck, one white long sleeved t-shirt and two pairs of sneakers: light brown Kamandas, with asymmetrical laces and big Neighborhood branding on the side panel, and khaki Inikis with gold beige accents and the Cali signature on the tongue.
The collection will be available on adidas.com and in some selected retailers worldwide starting from September 1st.
