Hanon x Diadora St.Clair
After some dope releases as the “Five Almonds” by Titolo, “Highly Addictive” by Afew or the most recent “Correfocs” by LimitedEDitions, Hanon is the next store for a collab with Diadora.
Hanon worked on the Squash, a silhouette which may is not as hyped as a N9000 or a V7000, but in my opinion, the execution speaks for itself.
The football inspired concept is simple. In 1983, the Aberdeen Football Club won their first European trophy. And it wasn’t an easy win for them as they had to beat a famous club: Real Madrid. The Aberdeen team scored their winning goal in the 112 minute. To honor this moment, Hanon embossed the number on the heel tab and tongue. The material choice is once again top class. I wouldn’t expect anything else by Diadora. The upper features a pigskin suede, a kangaroo leather tongue and heel tab, calf leather lining and finally an ostrich leather sidestripe. The pair has the iconic Hanon flame on the medial side and text branding on the heel.
I think this is once again a well executed collaboration by Hanon. The silhouette may is not the most famous, but the colorway and concept is on point. Limited to 150 pairs, the “St.Clair” will be available at Hanon only.
