About the release:
SIVASDESCALZO, the Spanish retailer specialized in sneakers and streetwear that in recent years has redefined urban fashion in Spain, has now revived the optimism and openness of the 1982 World Cup by creating in partnership with adidas Consortium, a limited edition release of the new adidas Sobakov Boost x Sivasdescalzo.
With a selection of products that effortlessly transcend the supposed limits between luxury and streetwear, SVD has applied the same audacious vision and energy to this model. A hybrid design, combining football, running and lifestyle esthetics, the adidas Sobakov Boost x Sivasdescalzo has a vibrant colour-block effect making direct reference to the popular mascot and global icon of the 1982 World Cup, Naranjito. Most notably, this is referenced in adidas' iconic Three Stripes highlighted in premium orange suede and contrasting green mesh. The midsole is reinforced with BOOST technology and enveloped with a Sobakov gum outsole that accentuates the curvilinear design of the shoe, while the white k-leather tongue recalls classic football footwear. Blue leather details add the final touch in paying homage to the beloved mascot.
An exercise in inventive nostalgia whose launch includes a new football jersey that, along with the adidas Sobakov Boost, bears the three distinctive orange stripes, while the ample collar gives it an unmistakable retro feel. The jersey will be available as a gift for the first to purchase the new silhouette until stock lasts.
