We stay in the London area for the second interview in our new series. Please take a moment and read about @BeMorePhotos
First of all, would you mind introducing yourself?
Hi, my names Ben Moore and I’m a freelance photographer. I’ve never known what I wanted to do growing up but I knew it was something creative. I grew up in south London
What equipment do you use for your photos?
My main camera is a Nikon d800 full frame dslr. I also have 14-24mm Lens 24-70 and a 70 - 200mm Lens. All Nikon lenses, all at f2.8. I also have two flash guns and other various soft boxes I use for fashion shoots.
How and where do you find inspiration for your work?
I find inspiration from all form of experiences, cultures, and mediums. I think life is the best place to get inspired from, wherever it be. People want to be moved, they want a story and if your images can tell stories you are going to have people follow you. Simple.
Do you have any favorite location to take pictures at?
I don’t really have a true favorite, there all good for different reasons. No true outstanding winner. Although inside of St Paul’s Cathedral was simply amazing.
What is your all time favorite picture?
My favourite picture can change depending on my mood. But if I had to choose it would probably be the smoke grenades shot that I did under the Greenwich walkway. It was a probably a shot I took which was ahead of my time. It put me on the map. Since then things have just grown. I’m loving the attention I’ve received, it’s been really positive.
