I will say the leather that was used on this sneaker is honestly the best leather I have seen on any sneaker to date. Even though I personally prefer the Grey pair, this was a beautiful addition as well.

Materials: in terms of materials, this 991 feels more premium than the Grey pair. The leather has a soft and flexible feel to it. I really don't know how to describe it, but it is beautiful in hand. Once again, my favorite touch to this sneaker is the mesh used around the sneaker. I truly wish every 991 used this type of mesh, it's flexible, squishy, and for me adds a nice comfort to the top of my feet. I truly feel like ALD really outdid themself with this sneaker and it is honestly gorgeous

Comfort/Sizing: idk if it's the insole combined with the mesh on the top, but this is probably the most comfortable 991 I have ever worn. The insole is much thicker than what you would normally see in a 991. Imo, this 991 gives you a nice support but also a squishy feeling when standing in place or walking around. This would be an easy choice if I knew I was going to be on my feet for the entire day. In terms of sizing, I would stay tts. I grabbed these in a size 8 and they fit me perfectly. If you have a wider foot, I would go up a half size because it is narrow on your toes like most 991's.

Overall Opinion: ALD nailed it on the entire pack. Given that this released around the same time as their new store opening in London, it just feels special. In hand, this blew any expectation that I had from the OG leaks. I really feel like this Collab will be special in a few years, like how the 990v2 &v5 is a lot of people grails now. Idk this is just my personal opinion but I am really grateful to have the chance to have gotten both in the raffle for retail. In short, don't sleep
