Asics Gel Kayano 14 'White/Slate Grey'

I went back and forth on picking these up for awhile, then finally found a price that was discounted enough to where I couldn't pass them up. After getting them in hand, I'm pretty glad i picked them up bc it has quickly become a staple pair for me.

Materials: the entire upper is made of mesh & synthetic materials. The mesh is done in a white color & it feels very breathable on foot since they used the big hole mesh. The rest of the upper is made up of synthetic materials in green & silver. The green hits are on the stripes, and on certain inlays of the silver. Last thing to mention is the sockliner, which is done in that green color, which i feel is kind of a nice switch up from a generic white color. Overall, i feel like this sneaker is what we have come to expect from the Gel Kayano 14 from a material standpoint.

Comfort/Sizing: I personally find this model extremely comfortable. This model has no break in period and is comfy & soft straight out of the box. The feel on foot is very squishy but doesn't feel unstable like boost. In terms of sizing, I always get the Kayano 14 in my tts, size 8, and it has always fit my foot perfectly.

Overall Opinion: as we continue into the 2k runner trend, i feel like Asics made another simple & effective addition to their already stacked line-up. Like i said at the beginning, i was really on the fence with this colorway, but it really is one of my favorite GR's to release this year from Asics. The green is really subtle and is an easy colorway to wear throughout the entire year. If you can find a pair on sale or for a cheap price, definitely pick these up bc I'm personally glad I did.
