Corteiz x Nike Air Max 95
Clint leaked this pair earlier this year and I honestly feel like the pictures we've seen don't give the shoe the attention it deserves. The material quality is specifically what really impressed me once I got them in hand.
Materials: The wave pattern starts with a Dark Green leather. The leather has a nice tumbled effect and wraps around the toe, where they added a yellow Corteiz 'C' logo. The next 2 waves is an olive green leather. It doesn't feel as soft as the waves before, but is still pretty nice. On the right sneaker they put an embroidered Nike check on the back heel & a Corteiz logo on the opposite side. Whereas on the left sneaker, the logos are swapped, with the check inside & Corteiz on the outer. Above those is a Sage-greenish color with a diamond pattern mesh that wraps around the top part of the sneaker. On the tongue they used the Corteiz logo, which is a shadow of Alcatraz. Moving onto the sock liner, they went with a camo pattern that continues on the insole. Lastly on the "spine", they added some coordinates, with the nike air logo embossed at the top. Overall, I feel like they chose good materials & the colorway blends together pretty well. imo.
Comfort/Sizing: I personally find the AM95 to be one of the more comfortable models in the Air Max family. They have a nice bouncy/responsive feel to them that I personally prefer over the other models. My only gripe is the AM95 is more bulky than the other models.
Regarding sizing. These fit me in an 8, but most go up a half size and I usually have as well. I'd recommend going with your 95 sizing.
Overall Opinion: I think that the team over at Corteiz did a really nice job on these. Idk why, but for whatever reason, it reminds me of the OG 95 cw, but on steroids lol. The material quality was really nice & the way the green fades from bottom to top was a pretty cool concept. I ended up letting go of my OG pair and immediately regretted it & was lucky enough that my buddy @990.rik had a pair that I was able to grab. Out of the pack, I personally like these the best, followed by blue, then pink.
