END. x Salomon XT-6 'Porcini'
END has been putting out some beautiful XT-6's & with this being the follow up of the 'Dark Truffle' cw, they definitely did a great job. Between the 2, this is my favorite colorway out of the pack, but I'm biased with orange sneakers..
Materials: The majority of the upper is an orange mesh with clay-brown & white synthetic stripes on the medial & lateral side. The stripes and mesh are intertwined & flow nicely. The area on the toe is a somewhat firm & rubber like material, which makes sense given the sneaker's true purpose as a trail running sneaker. Lastly, the insole. The insole has the Salomon S logo & the END printed on top of the Porcini Mushroom print. Overall, I honestly love the colors that END went with on this sneaker & it is somewhat similar to one of my favorite XT-6 colorways from 2022.
Comfort/Sizing: I personally feel like the xt-6 is one of the more comfortable salomon models. The XT-6 has a nice stable feeling on the heel, but as you move down your foot, it has a softer & more squishy feel. IMO, the model molds to your feet bc of the sock-like design. For sizing: I always buy these in a size 8 & they fit me perfectly. If you have a slightly wide or a wide foot go up a half size due to the narrow shape.
Overall Opinion: I personally have really enjoyed this series that END has been putting out. The Black Truffle colorway & these feel perfect as we step foot into the fall & winter season. I'm kind of biased tbh, bc Orange, Yellow, & Green sneakers are my favorite colors on shoes, but given the durable exterior of Salomon shoes, this will be something I wear a decent amount as the seasons continue to change.
