Jordan 4 'Industrial Blue'

I have been looking forward to picking these up for a really long time. There's been a few times over the years that I almost paid resell, but I heard awhile back that these would be part of the reimagined series so I decided to wait it out. With that being said, I'm stoked to finally add this pair to the collection.

Materials: starting at the toe cap, they went with a light grey-ish nubuck that has a pretty smooth & soft feel to touch. Next up is the white leather which feels nice in hand, but nothing too crazy. In comparison, the leather is really similar in quality to the '20 Fire Red 4's (these are a lot softer on foot tho) but the leather is not as soft as the SB4's. Next up, the netting, which is that same white color with the industrial blue mesh below it. I will note when comparing to the previous retro, the blue is darker on the pair. && Lastly, my favorite part, the 'Nike Air' branding on the back in white on top of the industrial blue back tab. Overall, I enjoyed this pair & will definitely be doubling up on these 🤞.

Comfort/Sizing: this is where this pair really shines. I compared these to my SB4's & these feel great on feet. The padding on the inside is soft & fits rommier than pre-sb4's. I feel like the new shape is a very nice upgrade to the AJ4 model. The only difference from the SB4 that I felt on feet was there was more 'board' feel (obv) or squish underneath the toe area in the SB4. For sizing: go tts, even for those with wide 👣, these are wider than pre-sb4's & almost feel like I could get away with half down. In short, go tts, but if needed, you can do half down too.

Overall Opinion: I am really happy to finally add these to the collection. The new AJ4 shape feels really nice on feet & I have been loving the comfort. Honestly, this is a great pair & colorway regardless of the subtle differences. Even when comparing to the SB4, these are pretty similar but the only difference is the board feel & the SB4 has softer leather 🤷. I personally will be doubling up on these. I've seen mixed reviews & I personally really enjoyed this pair & I feel like folks will regret passing on these 💯.
