This is definitely my personal favorite out of the entire pack. In hand, the starlight blue stripes compliment the cream mesh perfectly, & as we head into the summer season, I really feel that this colorway is a perfect choice.

Materials: I feel like in terms of materials, these are very similar to the Scarab Kayano 14's I reviewed. The silver panels feel soft to touch & look like a synthetic leather, however it has a tumbled look in some spots & a brushed texture in others. Next up is the big hole mesh. The mesh is a cream color & due to the choice of mesh used, is extremely breathable on foot. Last thing I wanted to mention is the Starlight Blue hits that are placed on the stripes, toe cap, tongue, and wrapping around to the heel. Imo, this is what really differentiates this colorway from the others and it blends perfectly with the cream mesh. I feel that it gives it a nice pop of color in a refreshing tone for a summer sneaker.

Comfort/Sizing: imo, the 1130 is probably the most comfortable lifestyle model in the Asics line-up. They have a very soft and squishy feel to them, yet somehow it feels like your foot is very locked in and supported. If you haven't tried out an 1130, you're sleeping imo. In terms of sizing, I went with a size 8 & they fit me perfectly, therefore I'd stick with your tts.

Overall Opinion: out of the pack, these and the scarab 1130's are definitely my favorite pairs. The 1130 is one of my favorite models because it is one of the most comfortable sneakers I have put on in awhile. Regarding the colorway, I feel that as we head into the summer season, these will be the pair that most people are going to be after. Given the all day comfort & clean colorblocking this was a no brainier for me to add to the rotation.
