Kith for Asics Gel Kayano 14 'Scarab'

I'm just going to come out and state that in hand, this is a Dark Green (scarab), cream, & white cw, not black & white. The color difference is much more noticeable in hand, than as shown in photos & changes given the lighting you hold the sneaker. With that being said, see below

Materials: I personally feel like the quality of these are better than some of the Kayano 14's I have seen recently (specifically the silver paneling). The silver panels look like a synthetic leather, however it has a tumbled look & honestly it feels pretty smooth & soft to touch. Next would be the scarab color on the panels & stripes. The color looks really nice in hand and given the lighting you are in, it will change the overall shading of the color. My favorite detail is the scarab gel bc I feel that it compliments the cream hits nicely. Lastly, the mesh, it is a faint cream color that I personally feel completes the overall aesthetic of the design.

Comfort/Sizing: I personally find this model extremely comfortable. This model has no break in period and is comfy & soft straight out of the box. The feel on foot is very squishy but doesn't feel unstable like boost. In terms of sizing, I always get the Kayano 14 in my tts, size 8, and it has always fit my foot perfectly.

Overall Opinion: at first glance, it reminded me a lot of other Kayano 14s we have seen recently, but the scarab colored gel & laces is what immediately stuck out to me. In hand, the color differences are much more noticeable. I will note that there is no kith branding on this design and it is similar to what we have seen with the steel blue 990's & pistachio 993 in terms of Kith exclusive models. The gel kayano 14 is one of more comfortable models that I have worn in the past few years besides the gel-1130, which as of rn is 🐐'd. In the order of my personal favorites from this upcoming pack, I would say the 1. Scarab 1130, 2. dazzling blue 1130, 3. these , & 4. Antler Kayano 14. IMO, this is a perfect pack to grab heading into summer
