Kith x New balance 990v3 “Daytona”

My first impression in hand is that I was honestly blown away while taking it out of the box. The colors are absolutely gorgeous in hand, and somehow just work together beautifully.

Materials: the materials are nice imo. The majority of the upper is primarily suede, besides the heel, which is a brown leather. The blue suede in the toe area, is soft, but not as soft as the suede on the v4 of the pack. I will say it still has a nice color change when you move your finger across it. Idk if it's just my pair, but the cream suede feels sort of stiff and more durable if anything. On the heel, it has this very soft brown leather, which I feel was a nice touch. Last thing I will say is that the sockliner has the same type of material as the v4 tongue which is this velvet like suede/cloth. This was something I've never seen before but feels very nice on my feet, so idk

Comfort: imo, the 990v3 is very squishy on foot as you stand in place but also has a slight firmness to it as well. It's a very easy sneaker to wear all day without any discomfort. In my experience, I recommend going down a half size in the 990v3. Imo, this shoe fits me perfectly in a size 7.5 and definitely wouldn't recommend going any other size.

Overall Opinion: this shoe is beautiful. I know I keep saying this lol, but the colors just mesh together perfectly. There are a lot of little hidden gems on this sneaker, from the random hits of pink, the logos on the lace tips & lace, to the little kith square on the back. It just feels like a very well thought out design, and given the fact that it's a remake of the Daytona is perfect for me because I always loved that sneaker but never ended up grabbing it over the years. Overall this sneaker is my favorite out of the entire pack and am very grateful to have it in my collection. If you have the chance to grab it or are on the fence, I would buy it ☑️
