New Balance 990v2 by Teddy SantiS

I honestly didn't think they could make a v2 any better than the OG v2 of the 16, but these are GOOD...

Materials: the materials on this sneaker are very nice imo. The Upper consists of this dark olive suede that has a nice color change while brushing across it. There are subtle hits of navy suede in the toe area and on the N logo. Next up would be the cream squiggle mesh that we have seen across most of the Teddy pairs. I personally feel it is much more comfortable than the usual mesh NB uses, but that's just my thought. Lastly, on the back heel there is a long hair tan suede that is similar to what we've been seeing on his GR's. IMO, this sneaker was beautifully executed & one of my favorite designs this year.

Comfort: the comfort of a 990v2, imo, is soft but more on the firmer side. It is squishy, just not as squishy as the 990v3 and so on. This is something that could easily be worn all day without any issues. In terms of sizing, I grabbed a 7.5 and it fits my foot perfectly.

Overall Opinion: I was pretty shocked when I got these in hand, and if I'm being honest, I truly wasn't expecting to like these as much as I do. For me, it's something about how the cream mesh works with the rest of the colors that I feel creates a beautiful outcome. The high quality of the materials used really added to my overall experience with this pair. I know I've said this before, but this definitely made my top 10 this year and is one of the best GR's I have seen this year, besides the OG. If you slept on this colorway, I wouldn't. I could definitely see this being a pair that a lot of people look back on and wish they copped

If you made it this far, I wanted to thank you for taking time out of your day to read my thoughts on this sneaker. I truly appreciate your support & what you do for this page.

Much love
