New Balance 990v3 by Teddy Santis

Imo, this is another one of those Teddy pairs that are difficult to believe that they aren't a collab. The design and overall quality of this sneaker feels like it SHOULD be an ALD Collab, but it isn't.

Materials: as mentioned above, the materials on this sneaker feel much better than most GR sneakers I have seen previously. The upper is an olive green nubuck that feels very nice to touch and has a nice color change while brushing across. On the N logo, it is a soft burgundy suede that feels very nice to touch & gives it a little pop that meshes together nicely with the cw. Lastly, in the toe area, there is a canvas material that feels durable to touch & I personally am curious to see how this material will age overtime. I feel that the canvas compliments the aesthetic of the design in a unique way & I personally think this is what added to the collab vibe that it was giving me.

Comfort/Sizing: imo, the 990v3 is very squishy on foot as you stand in place but also has a slight firmness to it as well. It's a very easy sneaker to wear all day without any discomfort. In my experience, I recommend going down a half size in the 990v3. Imo, this shoe fits me perfectly in a size 7.5 and definitely wouldn't recommend going any other size.

Overall Opinion: if I'm being honest, this feels like one of those Kith exclusives where the design is very unique while also using very high quality materials. This design gives me a hiking & boot like aesthetic that adds a unique & fun touch to the 990v3. I personally have been wearing these pretty frequently & I feel like this is one of teddy's best designs to date. If you slept on this colorway, I personally wouldn't. I think this is going to be like the amethyst V3 that will continue to get better overtime.

If you made it this far, I wanted to say thank you for taking time out of your night to read my thoughts. Thank you for supporting my page and I appreciate all the love and support. I hope you have a good rest of your week
