New Balance 990v3 by Teddy Santis

I first saw an in hand photo of this sneaker from @oldmanalan on IG, and was honestly very impressed by the colorblocking. All three from this first batch are very similar but have slightly different color blocking depending on the model, but imo, they all work extremely well.

Materials: the grey suede that goes across the upper is a long, soft hairy suede that is similar to what is used on the Salehe 2002r. I will mention that the grey suede used on the v3 is much thicker than what was used on the v1. Where the 3m usually has been replaced with this soft, tan suede that has a nice color change while moving your finger across it. Then the rest of the sneaker has a green mesh, that is similar to what you normally see on a 990v3. My favorite touch on this sneaker is the little red NB logo on the back heel. Overall in terms of materials, I was very impressed with the quality.

Comfort/Sizing: imo, the 990v3 is very squishy on foot as you stand in place but also has a slight firmness to it as well. It's a very easy sneaker to wear all day without any discomfort. In my experience I recommend going down a half size in the 990v3. I think if I would have gone tts, it would definitely be slightly big on my foot. The size 7.5 fit my foot perfectly.
Overall Opinion: I honestly have nothing negative to say about this sneaker. Overall, it's beautiful, comfortable, easy to wear, and the beginning of a huge Milestone of Teddy Santis with New Balance. I think for me, if I had to pick out of the 3 that just released my favorite would be the v1 and the v3. I don't have the v2 to make a final decision, but out of the 16 pairs coming, these 3 are without a doubt my favorite.

If you made it this far, I just wanted to say thank you for taking time out of your night to read my thoughts on this sneaker. I appreciate the constant love and support that everyone shows on my page, so thank you 🙏. I hope everyone has a good rest of your night. 💖✌️
