Nike Lunar Roam 'Alabaster/Green Abyss'

Nike Lunar Roam 'Alabaster/Green Abyss'

The return of Lunar...🚀 I was really excited for these to drop lol like probably a little too excited tbh lol. The color blocking is really nice, the comfort is great, & I really enjoyed the way that shops released these bc it felt like a special release & most importantly, thank you @sxhernandez for helping me grab this pair🐐.

Materials: gonna start out and say that this sneaker is very light & is probably the lightest sneaker I have in my collection tbh. The upper is made up of this yellow, wire-like pattern that feels like it kind of molds to the shape of my foot. It's flexible & I have experienced zero discomfort every time I've worn these. On the medial & lateral side near the toe, there's a rubber panel in a greyish-black. Underneath the mesh in the toe box there's a round panel that's supposed to help create a locked in & supportive feel. The swoosh is done in a black shade with a 'green abyss' overlay that finishes through the back heel & ends on the medial side. Lastly, my favorite part, the sock liner. The sock liner is very soft to touch and reminds me of the velvet material used on the SW 97/1, but without your sock sliding down lol. Overall, I really enjoyed this design & colorway.

Comfort/Sizing: I find this sneaker to be really comfortable and has been a go to sneaker for me lately as I've been out for the weekend. The best way I can describe it, is a soft & squishy foam feeling that is an easy everyday pair. SIZING - I got these in an 8 & there is a little room in the toe. I personally think I could've gotten away with a 7.5, but I personally prefer the room since my injury. If you like a snug or tts fit go half down.

Overall Opinion: personally, I'm a huge fan of this model and am excited to see Nike bring back some of their older runners. I have worn this pair a lot since receiving them and they have been holding up really nicely. I saw someone had a pair with a panel separating, but mine have shown no signs of that & I have worn mine pretty heavily for extended periods of time. If you're able to grab a pair, I would pick one up & try them out, I enjoy mine a lot.
