These are crazy... The box, packaging, details, & customization options make this collab one of the most completed designs this year. Materials: the base layer of this sneaker is a slightly faded, emerald canvas. I feel like the more this is worn, the more it will fade & continue to become lighter. My creasing has been very minimal but there is a slight fade in certain areas from wear. On the top cap she used a brighter 💚 & this suede can also be found on the back heel, on parts of the lace cage, & near the outside of the ankle collar. The suede feels nice in hand & has a bit of a fuzzy effect. The back heel is honestly the best part & truly sets off this whole design. The back heel is a 🍦 leather that is completely stitched into the heel. The Nike Air logo is a green chenelle material & then on the edge, there's a Jumpman tab in orange that can also be removed. On the tongue, there's Nina's personal take on the Jumpman logo embroidered in cream, this pays homage to some of her art. On the inside of the tongue is a leather lining with an orange patch saying 'Nina' on the right & 'Air Jordan' on the left. This cream leather continues around the ankle collar & at the insole, you'll see a checkered pattern with a Jumpman logo at the heel. Overall, there's so much potential to make these your own aesthetic, while also allowing Nina's art to shine on its own w/ her hidden details t/o the design.
Comfort/Sizing: The AJ3 is my favorite model in the JB line-up. They have a somewhat firm feel on foot, but are more squishy than most models. For sizing, I got these in my tts (US 8) & would recommend going tts as well, even if you have a wide foot.
Overall Opinion: JB allowed Nina to really put her mark on this design, while staying true to the marketing. She designed something for every occasion, whether it's dressing up or going out, this is a great pair that has the potential for some fire customs too.
