Patta x New Balance 990v3

I feel like I waited a LONG time for this release after they leaked the box earlier this year. Once they started rolling out the marketing, I was really looking forward to it. Anytime my family and I can match, I always try to grab pairs because for them, they get SUPER excited when we wear the same thing lol.

Materials: imo, the materials on this sneaker are what you would expect from a Made in US pair. The suede used is soft to touch and has a nice color change while brushing across it. I will note that the shade of green is more of a sage/greyish green color, where as jjjjound has a much brighter green to it. In the toe box, you have these bright green hits that I personally feel adds to the design and gives it an added attraction & fun take on a classic sneaker for the whole fam to enjoy. The last thing I will cover is the Patta branding and Patta 'P' on the back heel area. Imo, this has become their signature whenever they do a collab with New Balance. Overall I was pretty happy with the outcome.

Comfort/Sizing: imo, the 990v3 is very squishy on foot as you stand in place but also has a slight firmness to it as well. It's a very easy sneaker to wear all day without any discomfort. In my experience, I recommend going down a half size in the 990v3. Imo, this shoe fits me perfectly in a size 7.5 and definitely wouldn't recommend going any other size

Overall Opinion: my first thought when I saw this sneaker was that there has been a few back to back releases in a similar shading of green, but knowing Patta, ik they were going to put their special touch on it. I feel that overall this was a nice Collab & I personally feel that they look a lot better on foot than they initially did in photos. The materials are high quality, the colorway is fun for the kids & myself, & given that it's a V3, it makes it an easy choice to throw on and head out for the day. However, if I were to compare to their previous collabs, the 991 is still.

If you made it this far, I wanted to say thank you for taking time out of your day to read my thoughts. Thank you for your patience & ongoing support as always. Much love
