Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 'Disrupt Pack'
This pack seemed to be the follow up from the ProGrid Omni 9 'Crystal Cave' but this specific pair has more metallic hits than the holographic effects on the previous pack. Nonetheless, these are super nice in hand & luckily I was able to find these under retail on @ebaysneakers π»π
Materials: starting at the mudguard, there's a burnt bronze/red panel with a sparkly-blue hit near the tip of the mudguard. This paneling can also be found on the tongue tag & wrapping around the bottom half of the back heel. Behind the mudguard, there's a metallic silver panel that continues t/o the majority of the upper. These panels are primarily covered w/ a dotted pattern t/o certain parts of the eyelets & moving down the midfoot. Moving to the back of the shoe, there's a Omni 9 plastic window on the lateral side followed by a blue panel with a dotted pattern & a subtle Saucony logo tucked inside the pattern. Regarding the mesh used, it has a metallic silver base, with a black big hole mesh resting on top. & lastly, on the main Saucony logo, it consists of 3m on both sides of the shoe & another hidden 3m hit on the lateral side of the back heel. Overall, this is a really well designed pair & honestly just looks nice in hand. Some of their GR's have been nicer than most collabs nowadays & that's kinda crazy in itself lol.
Comfort/Sizing: In terms of comfort, i would compare this closest to the 2002r bc it has a nice, bouncy feel to it, but it does have a short break in period tbh (1-2 day max b4 it breaks in).I got these in an 8 & there's a little room, but they fit fine, I'd personally recommend going tts.
Overall Opinion: some of these GR's that Saucony puts out are really nice. With this following the Crystal Cave pair, it stays true to the purpose of making a more premium & well executed 'collab-like' design. I personally like these more than the crystal Cave & the other pair from this pack, but mainly bc these are more wearable. They have a nice retro runner feel, but with unique panels giving it a somewhat futuristic aesthetic. Overall, I'm happy w/ this pick-up, especially β€΅οΈ retaiπ¬
