Sean Wotherspoon x adidas Gazelle Indoor

I have to say from an overall creativity standpoint on a sneaker, this design really separates itself from its competitors & is arguably one of the best designs that he's done with adidas, imo.

Materials: the base layer of the upper is a green hemp material. If comparing it to another design, I'd say it's similar to the canvas material that we saw on the stussy af1s and like designs. On top of the hemp, there is what looks like an arrowhead/triangle pattern that flows throughout the entire sneaker. The pattern seems to flow, but slightly changes directions given the area of the sneaker. Honestly this pattern is pretty nuts & I've never seen anything like it lol. I wanted to mention that even the laces have a somewhat triangular flow within their weaves. Idk, I really feel like the tiny details on this sneaker are pretty nuts lol. Lastly, I just wanted to mention on the heel tab, there's a red fabric-like material with his signature SW logo embroidered in white & orange. Overall, like I said previously, this is prolly my favorite design of his since the AM97/1

Comfort/Sizing: I personally find the Gazelle Indoor to be slightly more comfortable than the samba. It has a nice arch support to it imo, but is pretty flat to the ground. If comparing them to something I'd say it's similar to a dunk, but more comfy. In terms of sizing, I personally go tts in these. I find that they fit my foot perfectly in a size 8.

Overall Opinion: I feel like Sean's designs on the Gazelle Indoor model have been some of his best pairs to date. The overall creativity that goes into putting an embroidered triangle pattern t/o the entire upper is pretty awesome. Something I like about SW is that even if it's a simple cw, there's always unique details that elevates the sneaker & gives it a nice & refreshing design. I feel like he executed these pretty well and from what I've seen, he's got a few more in the arsenal 🤞
