I keep saying this, but this is another example of a great design that was put together by the team over at Starcow in collaboration with Saucony. The color blocking on this pair is what initially caught my eye bc it reminded me a lot of a somewhat gorp-core aesthetic, but it had a really clean palette that flowed nicely.

Materials: starting at the mudguard, there's a soft, bronze-ish suede with a neon 💚 embroidery that carries t/o the panel & transitions into a dark 💚 suede that wraps to the other other side & can be found again near the back heel. The base layer of the 👟 is a neon 💚 layer that is somewhat muted bc of the dark 💚 mesh that sits atop of it. Then, as you continue to the mid-foot, there's a Saucony logo in bronze that sits atop of a bronze cage system. This cage continues to the back heel where you'll see a clear window that exposes the mesh used beneath it & Omni 9 branding printed on top. My favorite feature on these is the leather patch on the medial side bc it has an iridescent effect. Sitting above, is a cartoon-ish effect on the panel that holds the Saucony logo in the middle. Lastly, for the branding they went with a suede patch at the top of the tongue that has 'Starcow' resting above the Saucony S logo, followed by a camo insole with more Starcow & Saucony branding.

Comfort/Sizing: straight out of the box, the ProGrid Omni 9 has a short break-in period that feels really similar to a 2002r once they are fully broken in and makes a great everyday pair. For sizing, I received these in a US 7.5 & they honestly fit me perfectly, they're a little snug, but after a good wear or 2 they should be fine. If you want a snug fit, you can go half down if needed, but I prefer a tad bit of room so I would go tts.

Overall Opinion: I'm a pretty big fan of these & the color blocking used in the design. I like the 3 lace choices bc you can go loud w/ neon or 🧡, or more subtle with the forest 💚. Imo, this is a really clean design & Starcow did their thing 👌
