I was skeptical of this pair at first bc I really wanted to pick up the tan pair on release day but ended up taking an L. After checking on grailed, I saw these & the tan pair IRL pics, & low-key liked this color a lot more lol. Needless to say, when release day rolled around, I scooped these up.

Materials: I was impressed with the quality of the materials used on this pair. On the toe, there’s a long hair electric green suede, that’s honestly pretty soft to touch. They used the same suede on the eyelets & on the heel counter. Moving to the swoosh, there’s a black embroidered swoosh similar to what was used on the AF1’s that Stussy did in the past. On the back heel, there’s a black leather hit with the Stussy logo in the electric green color. The tongue is definitely my favorite part of this sneaker bc it's a exposed foam w/ a reversed tag w/ the nike logo on the inside & on the outer is a description of Nike & their logos written using Stussy’s signature font. Lastly, the knit of the upper is done in an electric green color, but the pattern of the mesh reminds of gym shorts lol. It looks really nice in hand & has held its shape well with some wear. Overall, after seeing both color ways, I’m kinda surprised how much I like these bc I don’t normally like really loud colors, but these ended up winning me over.

Comfort/Sizing: the LD-1000 model has a spongey feel on foot & is basically a chunk of foam, that wear in pretty quickly. It is a pretty flat shoe, but I have a high arch and after it broke in, haven’t found any discomfort. It’s not going to be like modern day runners, but pretty similar to the sacai LD Waffle imo (obviously) For sizing, I went tts (US 8) and found these fit me well. For ref: I have a slightly wide foot & my foot measures as a 8, almost 8.5. In short, go tts.

Overall Opinion: like I said previously, I really liked the tan pair when I first saw pics, but after seeing some pics online, these were definitely the sleepers. Nike recently dropped the black GR pair & even those look pretty nice too. With the retail being so cheap & the aesthetic of this pair, I'm glad I picked these up.
