The 8th Street Samba by Ronnie Fieg for Clarks & adidas

I really feel like this is going to be one of the most iconic releases for a while. Combining the Clarks sole, with a samba upper, then giving it the final touch with premium materials, is probably the best & most iconic triple Collab I have in recent memory.

Materials: the entire upper is a soft, shadow green suede. The suede is soft to touch and has a nice color change while brushing across it. On the stripes they went with a soft white leather that is standard when compared to other sambas I have. My favorite features are the tongue tag & insole. The tongue tag is a soft shadow green leather with the adidas trefoil & Fieg embossed into the leather. They gave the heel of the insole the same treatment which is a really nice touch. Lastly, the crepe sole, it's very similar to the wallabee cup sole bc the sole goes over a portion of the upper similar to those. Overall, I feel like they had a good selection of material choices which added to that special feel of this Collab.

Comfort/Sizing: the best way I can describe these is to imagine a squishy samba lol they have a nice squishy feel on foot, but also giving you a flat to the ground samba feel. In terms of sizing, I grabbed these in a size 8 (tts) & I feel like these fit me perfectly.

Overall Opinion: I ended up grabbing these on goat bc during the preorder timeframe, I had just bought the Spring 101 993 and needed to recoup. I have to say I'm pretty mad at myself bc after having these in hand, I would've rather had these 100%. I really feel like unless these restock or become a GR model, these are going to be a huge grail for people down the line. I feel like the overall design is amazing & honestly kinda genius given the current trend in fashion. I feel like these give you the best features of the samba and clarks & mesh together perfectly. I will definitely be picking up another pair of these and the white cw when preorders come in, I'd highly recommend not passing as well.

If you made it this far, thank you for taking time out of your night to read my thoughts. I hope everyone has a good week.
