My initial thought when I saw this sneaker is that it reminded me exactly of the madness 992 & nimbus cloud 992. It's a very simple and clean colorway that looks beautiful in hand and also in photos.

Materials: I felt that the materials were nice overall. The majority of the upper consists of a soft grey/white suede. I will say that the suede has a nice color change while brushing across & if I were to compare it to another V3, I would say it is similar in quality as the jjjjound V3. On the toe box & tongue there is this brownish/grey nubuck material that is soft to touch as well. I personally feel that these hits compliment the overall colorblocking very nicely. Last thing I will mention is the 990 logo on the rear panel has an embroidered 990 logo which I feel continues to add to that premium feel of a Collab.

Comfort/Sizing: imo, the 990v3 is very squishy on foot as you stand in place but also has a slight firmness to it as well. It's a very easy sneaker to wear all day without any discomfort. In my experience, I recommend going down a half size in the 990v3. Imo, this shoe fits me perfectly in a size 7.5 and definitely wouldn't recommend going any other size.

Overall Opinion: Overall, I feel like YCMC made a really clean and beautiful sneaker. This is something that is very easy to wear with almost anything & if I'm being honest, I personally prefer this over the sea salt V3. Given that it's a simple & clean colorway with good materials, I can understand the overall hype surrounding this collab. I personally wouldn't sleep on this colorway if given the chance to cop for a decent price.
