First of all, could you please introduce yourself?
Hi there, I’m Dean and I’m currently living in southeast London where I’ve grown up.
I’m a sneaker enthusiast and a huge fan of Nike Air Max. I’ve been into sneakers since 2002 and my passion has grown a lot since then was also fortunate to be part of opening sneaker stores all over the UK, Spain, and France including laying out footwear departments.
Living in the London area, do you get to enjoy some of the local shops or do you purchase your sneakers online?
Living in London there is a great choice to shop from I actually worked in sports retail for 12 years and was lucky enough to travel around south east London area checking out a large variety of sneaker shops. Including sneaker conventions in my own time. Although my few recent pairs I’ve got online I still like to go into the store. Even back in the days when you had to queue outside shops just to get the latest sneakers, there was a sort of buzz around it.
You seem to have a special love for Nike, why is that?
My love for Nike started when I was 13 years old when I got my first pair of Air Max 95’s we used to call them 110’s back then too. It was from that moment on I was hooked on the brand and haven’t looked back since.
Do you know how many Air Max’ you have in total?
My current collection is ranging from around 80-90 Air Max pairs but there’s always room for more right?

If you were to cop anything besides Nike which release would it be?
I’ve recently seen a new balance style that caught my eye and looks great in terms of quality and style of shoe so probably try those out.
The style that caught my eye was the new balance 1500.
What is your all-time grail?
In terms of grail, I would have to say the Nike and atmos collaboration Air Max 1 elephant missed out on these so hopefully one day I’ll get them in my collection
