Cpfm x Nike Air Force 1
Tbh, I never thought this shoe would restock & I've wanted to circle back for this pair on multiple occasions, so when I saw these restocking, I knew this would be a minimum double up pair. Cpfm has always pushed the boundaries w/ their designs & continue to stay true to that narrative. Even though this is a rerelease, I'm glad I decided to wait it out & didn't pay resell.
Materials: the upper of this sneaker is a premium white leather that has a nice gran & feels really nice in hand. There's a 2 tone effect in the shade of 🤍. For the 2 tone, it starts at the laces to the toe, which is a darker white shade, but from the lace cage to the back is an almost eggshell white. On the right shoe, you'll see a soft white leather across the lateral side of the shoe saying 'AIR' w/ a 3m panel beneath the each letter. On the left pair it's the same concept but w/ the word 'SUNSHINE' that wraps around the entire sneaker & also has the 3M panels underneath. Next up, the insoles have a heat map effect with R on the right insole & L on the left insole. Regarding branding, there's no cpfm branding on this design, but it does come with a dust bag & a spare pair of fat, white laces. Overall, I'm super grateful to have gotten these for retail & add these in my collection, it's a beautiful sneaker.
Comfort/Sizing: the af1, imo, is a pretty comfy shoe. It has a squishy & airy feel on foot the more you break them in. I personally don't have any issues wearing af1s all day & prefer the comfort over dunks. For sizing, these run a bit large, so I'd go with your normal af1 sizing, which for me is usually half down (7.5 US). I did get these in an 8 & they're a little big, but sometimes half down is pretty tight depending on materials for me. So... Half down.
Overall Opinion: I've always admired the way cpfm pushes the boundaries on their designs. They sometimes don't get the love they deserve when the potato phones posts come out, but folks usually come around the more on feet's there are. I think it's 🐐'd that they brought these back for a 3rd time & I wouldn't pass these up if you're a fan of af1 or cpfm bc idk if they'll come 🔙.
