End x Adidas Mocaturf
Based on the polls, the Mocaturf is definitely the sleeper of this pack. This cw was my favorite out of the entire pack, followed by the green/pink tobacco. I've always been a fan of moccasin designs, but this is my 1st time owning this model by adidas & I'm shocked how much more comfortable these are then my regular shadowturfs. This pair gives me the comfort of a regular moccasin but w/ a rugged/outdoor outsole.
Materials: starting at the toe cap, a burgundy, long hair suede wraps around the bottom half of the sneaker. Around the back heel, the suede becomes more shaggy, then cuts back to a shorter length of suede. The suede on the toe feels more durable than the tan suede above it (makes sense given it's an outdoor theme & gives it more structure/durability when hitting your foot on a rock 😂) The toe cap is stitched into the rest of the upper in an 'X' pattern convincing the orangish/tan suede to the bottom half (like a moccasin). The stripes are done in a cream embroidery with loose threads at the end, paying homage to fly lures used when fly fishing. On the tongue, you'll see the adidas & end logo around a fish logo on top of a soft burgundy suede w/ exposed foam at the edge. Lastly, branding... On the back heel tab, there's an adidas trefoil logo in cream & on the insole, they added 'adidas & end' branding in red with fly-fishing in blue on top of a leather insole (which I think adds to the comfort) Overall, this shoe really is beautiful in hand & I really like how these came out.
Comfort/Sizing: the Mocaturf is pretty comfortable. I'd say it's similar to a Clarks wallabee, but has a more squishy feel to it if that makes sense. For sizing, I went with my tts (us 8) & they fit me perfectly. There's a tad bit of extra room, but i would stay tts.
Overall Opinion: this is probably one of my favorite designs by end, or at least the top 3. I have a huge soft spot for moccasins so I'm a bit biased, but the material quality, extras, & improved comfort, made me a big fan of this design. Thank you @endclothing for sending these out. If you're interested in picking up a pair, they're available now.
