Jae Tips x Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 'To-Do List'
Gonna be honest, Jae hasn't missed since he started his partnership with Saucony & imo plays a big role in their recent success. His first pair was crazy good, but imo, this pack is his best work he's put out yet. I'm glad he's getting all this recognition bc it's honestly well overdue.
Materials: starting at the toe, there's bronze-ish mudguard w/ a wavy pattern on it followed by a red hit. Moving beneath that is another TPU panel, but w/ a š border & š dots running t/o it. As for the mesh, there's a š, honeycomb pattern on the toe box, that is also underneath the š patterned rip stop on the midfoot. On top of the š pattern, you'll see a ā„ļøš S logo & for the eyelets he went with a š©· leather w/ a š & ā„ļø pattern t/o it. My favorite details are found on the heel. On the lateral side of each shoe, there's the word SAVIOR in the usual ProGrid window & on the other side the ā¬
ļø pair has his signature flower & the ā”ļø pair is his globe logo š. These logos sit on top of an icy blue window with a š pattern beanth it. Then to top it off, you'll see a Saucony patch sitting pretty on top between both logos. Diving inside, there's a š sockliner, similar to the texture of mesh shorts, but it's a pretty soft cotton material. Like his 1st Collab, you'll find MADE BY JAETIPS embroidered directly into the sockliner in š¤. Then on the insole, the ā¬
ļø pair says 'you should make a to-do list for today' followed by his š logo & the ā”ļø pair says 'comfortable shoes' followed by his signature. Lastly, the tongue. It has a goldish/brown honeycomb pattern then finishes off w/ pink transparent Saucony patch on the ā”ļø pair & on the ā¬
ļø tongue there's a patch of a little guy holding a flag that says 'savior' & he's standing on what looks like a pencil š„¹. In closing, these are ā½ š
Comfort/Sizing: In terms of comfort, i would compare this closest to the 2002r bc it has a nice, bouncy feel to it, but it does have a short break in period tbh (1-2 day max b4 it breaks in).I got these in an 8 & there's a little room, but they fit fine, I'd personally recommend going tts.
Overall Opinion: Truthfully, besides a JFG & James Whitner launch, I don't usually see as much buzz in the community as I do when one of Jae's collabs rolls out. He once again nailed this design & the level of detail that went into this design is fire. This pack may end up being my SOTY this year. Congrats on all the success @jaetips , it's well deserved & long overdue.
