New Balance 991v2 City Exclusive Pack 'Baltimore Blue'
I feel like a lot of people sleep on some of the made in UK designs. The quality is excellent & in a league of its own when compared to other brands, & this pack stays true to that narrative. Fun fact from the designer, this pack took inspiration from the 80's Motorsports colors & I wanted to pay homage to that w/ the wheels on the shoe travelling across the š)& displaying the message, 'From Flimby to the World'.

Materials: the base layer of this design is a š¤, big hole mesh in a square pattern for added breathability. This mesh carries throughout the upper & continues onto the tongue where there's a grey NB patch w/ Made in England, 991 embroidered into it. As for the suede used, it's beautiful in hand. It's a deep blue color that feels soft to touch and has a nice color change when brushing across it. For 3m hits, you'll find those on the N logo on the sides, the 991 branded bubble near the heel, on the back heel, & lastly at the bottom of the lace cage. Lastly, on the back heel, there's a V2 triangle patch embroidered into a grey panel. Overall, this is truly a beautiful pair of shoes & given the comfort of the upgraded 991, this is going to be an amazing pack & something you can wear for extended periods as well.
Comfort/Sizing: the 991v2 is a more comfortable design than the it's predecessor due to the added fuecell technology & slightly more toe room added into the design. This makes it a squishy & lightweight pair that's an easy option to choose for long days on your feet. As for sizing, I received these in my tts (us8) & they honestly fit me perfectly w/o much extra room.
Overall Opinion: this pack was really well executed & really caught my eye, especially these, the š, & the š. Given the materials quality & tech they used, I can justify the given price & the material quality & comfort of the 991v2 is better than a big portion of its competition.
