Nigel Sylvester x Jordan 4 RM 'Fence Green'
Imo, the story for this sneaker is relatable, heartfelt, & genuine bc it gives a glimpse into the past of where it all began for Nigel. This feels like a š displaying the massive success on his journey, & reminding folks to never forget where you started.
TY @excusemejayburnz for the oop & @eli_jah_mccallum for making this review possible.
Materials: the upper of these is a soft, green nubuck that has a really premium feel to it & it has a nice color change as you brush across it. Moving to the toe box, you'll see an embroidered metallic swoosh midway thru the mudguard. Then, as you move to the 1st & last eyelet, you'll see a rubber panel w/ a flexible feel like on the sb4's. The bottom half of the panel has a ā¬ pattern (kinda reminds me of graph paper lines lol) & this carries t/o the entirety of the panels. On the back heel, you'll see a Jumpman logo, followed by Bike Air, & then finishes off w/ a hidden bike & some writing on the inside of the pull tab. Moving to the tongue, there's more of that square pattern with more silver embroidery that says 'BIKE AIR BY JORDAN'. & Lastly, on the insole, the left pair said Nigel Sylvester & the right pair says Air Jordan. Overall, this is a really solid pair & the quality is really nice on these.
Comfort/Sizing: the comfort on these is similar to the SB4 imo. It has a nicely padded feel to them & are honestly pretty comfortable. I wore these all day the other day & didn't have any discomfort. For sizing, I went tts in these & they fit me perfectly. They're a pretty 1to1 fit, so if you want extra room, go half up.
Overall Opinion: From playing in Grandma's driveway & perfecting his craft, to a massively successful BMX career & having his own rollout on 1 of JB's newest designs. His message stays true & gives people the inspiration to put in the work & stay true to your purpose bc anything is possible. I spent a lot of time outside as a kid, practicing sports, playing w/ friends, etc & the message for this design is if you put in the work, anything is possible. Nigel made another banger tbh. So from Grandma's driveway to the š, don't š“ fr
