Nordstrom x Saucony Triumph 22 'Brindle'
I saw these for the first time on @um.jf13 story and was super intrigued by the design since they used cow print on a running model. When I got them in hand & started taking pictures of them, I started noticing the placement of some of the panels gave these a genuine impression of a cow & I tried to display what I saw in the pics. Thank you @sauconylifestyle for sending these over š¤.
Materials: the base layer of the upper is a š® print w/ brindle hairs in a š¤ & š¤ shade. Surprisingly, they are really breathable on feet & have some sort of mesh/knit base underneath the print that gives the shoe a well structured feeling on foot. Moving to the mid foot, you'll find translucent panels w/ a foggy shade to them on the S logo & also used on the eyelets. The S logo has a striped, (kinda 3d shaded) black pattern that continues to the back heel, where this panel transitions into a š¤ panel. Starting at the heel counter, you'll find, 'Triumph 22' branding followed by 2 translucent windows with a pull tab sitting in the middle that lowkey reminds me of a cow tail š. Lastly, as you move to the tongue, there's more Saucony branding on the top of the tongue tag. Idk if it's the upper used or the added breathability on the tongue but I haven't had any issues with my feet overheating after wearing them all day, multiple days in a row.
Comfort/Sizing: as you can tell by the chunk of foam, these are super comfortable lol. They remind me of fuelcell, but are more stable & plush on feet. There's a short break in period (like 1 wear) and it loosened up in the toe box where I initially had a little discomfort. Once they broke in, it was extremely plush & responsive on feet. For sizing, I went tts in these & they fit me great. I have a tad bit of room in the toe, but with the mesh, I'd stay tts, even w/ a wide foot.
Overall Opinion: once I started taking pics of these, I couldn't unsee the characteristics of a š® lol from the droopy laces (ears), the flappy pull tab (tail), & the obv š® print. This was a really cool design & if you're looking to pick up a pair, they're available now at @nordstrom & @saucony
