Undefeated x Nike Air Terra Humara 'Cargo Khaki'
I've been looking forward to these getting picked in the polls bc I feel like this was a massively slept on release & I feel like people will regret sleeping on them as this year rolls on. The Terra Humara is a nice model as it is, but undefeated really nailed it.
Materials: jumping straight in & starting at the toe & back heel is a black plastic cover w/ a diamond pattern to protect your feet when hiking or walking. Underneath that is a military green suede that wraps around the toe cap. The quality is okay, but keep in mind the true purpose of the model is a "trail design". Moving to the side of the sneaker is a reflective 3M olive panel, that acts as a lace cage. Behind the cage on a black nubuck they debossed the word 'Play' & 'Dirty' on the medial side. The swoosh is done in a cream-ish/tan leather with UNDTFD on a 🔵 & ⚪ tab. The base layer of the upper is thick & durable grey canvas. Lastly & my favorite hit is the midsole, which has a ⚫&⚪ speckle on top of a khaki base. Overall, the execution of this aesthetic was really well done & I personally feel like this is the best cw from their pack.
Comfort/Sizing: the Terra Humara has a firmer feel on foot that begins to mold to your feet with more wear. It's not uncomfortable, but definitely needs a quick break in period. In terms of sizing, I have tried both an 8 & 8.5 & the 8 (my tts) was tight at the tip of my toes. The 8.5 (half up) is more comfortable for me & would be my recommendation, but you can go tts if you HAVE to.
Overall Opinion: I'm glad this review finally saw the light of day, bc this Collab deserves a lot more love & attention than it initially got. The color blocking was really well done & fits in nicely w/ the current aesthetic of undefeated's branding & complements nicely with the Terra Humara model's true purpose (trails). I personally prefer this colorway out of the entire pack but the all black colorway was my runner up, followed by the Blue, then brown.
