Action Bronson x New Balance 1906r 'Medusa Azul'
When I held these 2 shoes in my hand, this entire Collab clicked for me & honestly made the whole pack come together for me & I feel like this is a lot more than just a design on a sneaker. When I held these 2 it reminded me a lot of my family & how special something like this could be. I tried to show what I felt when I took these pics. I hope you enjoy it, the review is below
Materials: the base layer of this 👟 is a blue big hole mesh that has a subtle white hue to it 🤷. Above the mesh is some blue paneling, that is entirely 3m but with light, it has a reflective 💙 tint, which is dope lol. Beneath the grey N-lock is a copper mesh hit, which adds a nice pop to it. My favorite feature on these is the tongue, bc there's a clear BAKLAVA X NB patch sitting on top of a diamond pattern with exposed black/dark grey mesh that is visible within each diamond. I've honestly never seen something like this before & it's definitely my favorite feature on these. Lastly on the midsole, it's primarily a blue shade that transitions to a brighter blue with a hit of glitter in it & this sits on top of a gum bottom with a pop of blue see through in the middle of the outsole. Overall, this was definitely my favorite pair in the pack, & his use of materials on these made them really stand out to me.
Comfort/Sizing: the 1906r is a pretty comfortable model imo. It has a pretty squishy feel to it since it uses the same outsole as the 2002r, therefore, the comfort will be similar. In terms of sizing, I'd go with your tts in these.
Overall Opinion: this collab felt a lot like a family project. The rosewater reminded me a lot of my fiance & some of the kicks she prefers to wear. The 💙 was my personal favorite & I feel like it would be the pair I would wear the most. & Lastly, Scorpius was the loudest pair in the pack, & fit perfectly for my daughter bc she loves crazy loud shoes lol & it happened to be the only kids pair too lol. I'm not sure if this was his intention with this pack, but this was definitely how I perceived it after getting them in hand & like his v6, a lot of heart went into these.
