New Balance 990v3 'Moonbeam' by Teddy Santis

This colorway reminds me a lot of the fy7 992, but with better colorblocking. This was one of the v3's I was looking forward to out of the pack, and I can say in hand, it did not disappoint.

Materials: imo, the materials are high quality and are very similar to those that were used on the 1st set of Teddy pairs. The toe cap and heel consists of this longer hairy suede, but on the lateral and medial side has this really soft moonbeam shade of suede. I will note that the cream suede is 2 different shades, the hairy suede is a brighter shade of cream, while the rest consists of the Moonbeam color. The suede is very soft and has a nice color change while moving your finger across it. Overall, I was very satisfied with the quality of materials that were used.

Comfort/ Sizing: imo, the 990v3 is very squishy on foot as you stand in place but also has a slight firmness to it as well. It's a very easy sneaker to wear all day without any discomfort. In my experience, I recommend going down a half size in the 990v3. I accidentally ordered a size 8 lol, so this pair is more roomy than I normally prefer unfortunately. With this sneaker I would definitely recommend going down a half size.

Overall Opinion: imo, this pair really reminds me of the fy7 992 overall, but the colorblocking is much better. The fy7 feels a lot brighter and just doesn't mesh as well as this pair does. The placement of the grey and white I feel really adds that pop to the sneaker that just meshes together very smoothly. The materials are very premium and are significantly better than other brand's GRs with the same price point. With all that said, this would be a pair that I would probably double up on if given the chance. As it stands now, this is my favorite v3 from the 16 that has been released to date.
