size? x New Balance 860v2
I'm really excited to finally have this shoe in hand. size? leaked pics of these earlier this year along with some of their recent work & these immediately caught my eye. I personally really like the 860v2 model & I feel like it's a very aesthetically pleasing model. size? put their spin on these & I feel like once again, they did a really nice job on these. Materials: the base layer of the sneaker is a greyish white, big hole mesh. Starting at the toe, there's a grey TPU panel that wraps around a decent portion of the upper. The panels have a shiny effect to them, but not overbearing like patent. Beneath the toe cap is a pink panel w/ tan & brown inlays that stops at the bottom 2 eyelets of the lace cage, where there's a tan N logo with an orange border. On the midfoot, there are more of those TPU panels that cross beneath the red bordered N logo. The N logo sits on top of a orangish/pink mesh on both sides of the sneaker. Lastly, on the back heel there's a pink & cream panel that wraps around the backside & creates 2 diamonds where they placed the 860v2 logo & a square NB logo in š sitting in the middle of a red 3m hit. Overall, I feel like these lived up to my expectations & the design team over at size? continues to do beautiful work.
Comfort/Sizing: the 860v2 is my favorite retro runner from NB from an aesthetic standpoint & the comfort is pretty squishy since it uses the same outsole as the 2002r & 1906r. For sizing, I usually always go tts in the 860v2 & recommend sticking with your usual 2002r/1906r or if you're unsure, I'd go tts.
Overall Opinion: this is another solid pair that size? added into the archives. I know everyone is saying bacon cw lol, but these are a really solid colorway on a really solid (& sleeper) model. At the time that I write this, there are a few sizes remaining on size?'s website for those looking to pick these up. If you haven't tried an 860v2, I'd highly recommend it. Much love š»
